For 85 years, PGF has led the way with world leading golf club design. Founded in Sydney in 1932, PGF is synonymous with the Australian golf industry. The name PGF stands for Precision Golf Forging, reflecting a tradition of professional craftsmanship that created many of the world's first technologies. In the 1960's, PGF innovations included the world's first parallel tip iron shaft which is still used in most golf clubs today. Now into the 21st century, PGF continues to offer quality golf equipment of all levels.

A LEGACY REBORN FOR THE MODERN GAME

PGF has been part of Australia's golf story, built on tradition, trusted by players, and known for quality that stands the test of time. Today, that legacy is evolving. With modern materials, refined design, and performance driven innovation, built on the foundations began PGF's success in 1932.

This isn't a comeback. It's a continuation of Australian golf legacy.

In 1972 the acclaimed Status MKII model provided players with the benefits of the world’s first heel-toe peripheral weighted iron design, the fore-runner to countless models from manufacturers the world over. The Status Hi Tech, launched in the 1980s, pioneered hollow iron technology that is now widely used in the industry.

The Status name continued to lead the way in technology through the 1990s with the Status 2000 model. PGF also launched the world’s first left hand exclusive model, the Southpaw. Dedicated to delivering the latest technology to all golfers, PGF invested in women’s golf early on with the Lady Futura speciality model. A complete junior specific range, Future Star, was launched in 2010.

Now into the 21st century, PGF continues to offer quality golf equipment for players of all levels. The Spectrum, Tour Precision and Lady Futura packages represent outstanding performance for golfers seeking exceptional value, while the Future Star range shines for juniors and ensures the PGF tradition continues.
